self-image identity pop culture bad-chroma-keying live coded audio SonicPi

A (hyper)realistic representation of what it would be like to party with myself with an audiovisual performance by me for me. This work was inspired by strong, vibrant female pop musicians I witnessed while growing up who imbibed a need in me to find a self-image.

In April of 2022, this work was exhibited as part of “Fresh Produce” by Method India at India Art Fair along with 2 other video works – You Don’t Know Me, 2018 and Naqes Meni Juwa, 2019.
